Here are some pictures of handbags that I find pretty. I'm trying to make up for that ugly handbags post. So, I hope you enjoy these babies! :)

This one I aboslutelly LOVE! I love the color, love the golden chain and the quilted leather. It's a Marc Jocobs and you can buy it for $795 at eLuxury.

This one is also a Marc Jacobs and I love the way it looks so strict and professional. I also love the color. Brown is definitelly my favourite color at the moment. This one is $1500 at eLuxury. (Oh, how I wish I could just go and spend this much money on a bag.. Well, I'd definitelly be broke after that!)

This bag is a little too bling-bling for me but I love the look of it anyways. It's a Versace and you can get it for $1482.

Last but definitelly not least is this gorgeous Juicy Couture bag for just $250. I absolutelly love it! Actually thinking of buying this one, but somebody should stop me before I do something stupid..

Balenciaga - the "it" bag

The Balenciaga bag with all its different sizes and colors has been the "it" bag for quite some time now. It is definitelly a good investment, the bag is of very high quality and it is absolutely gorgeous. Also, for those of you who try to keep up with fashion, Balenciaga will definitelly stay in the "it" bag position for a couple of years in the future. How to buy an authentic designer bag

If you decided to buy an authentic designer bag, but do not want to pay the retail price you can always try to find good "deals" on the Internet. Auctioning websites such as e-bay offer a lot of authentic vintage designer bags. Although not all of them are really authentic. So here are a few advices on how to tell a fake from the real thing.

- First of all, if you really are considering buying what somebody else is offering make sure you get a lot of pictures of the item. Some pictures should be real close up, so that you can see the stitches, the leather quality and so on. Do the homework, study what the real thing is supposed to look like on the official websites. (Louis Vuitton, for example, has close up pictures for most if not all of the items they offer.)

- It is a big plus if the exact same model is still for sale in the official store, so please, study carefully what it looks like. You can either do it online, as I said before, or you can even go to the actual store and ask to take a look at the bag. That is if there is such a store nearby.

- Compare the price that the seller is offering to the retail price of an item of the same kind at the official store (if your actual item is no longer for sale at the official store). If the price is way lower than at the official store, you should be careful. Nobody would ever sell an authentic Gucci, Prada or Chanel bag for less than half of the retail price.

- If the bag has a pattern like LV monogram or Gucci’s “GG” check if the pattern is symmetrical and is not being cut off in a weird place. Designers pay a lot of attention to keeping the pattern “correct”.

- Tags that hang from a handle are usually a clear sign of a fake designer bag. I definitely know that it’s the case for Louis Vuitton bags, because when I bought mine I didn’t have any tags or plastic wrapping around handles. So, be careful and check out what the bag looks like when they sell it at the official retail store.

- If you see glue anywhere, especially where the stitches are – then it is most definitely a fake.

- A used Louis Vuitton bag will never have the light beige handles. The color of the handles is light beige only when the bag is new. Already after a few weeks the leather becomes darker.

So I suggest that you do a lot of research before you consider buying a bag off the internet. I suggest choosing to buy an authentic bag instead. If you do not have designer stores nearby, you can always shop online. Louis Vuitton, Chanel and some other designers have on-line stores at their official websites. Although these stores are country-specific. There are also stores that sell items from different designers. Such stores are E-luxury and Bluefly.

Knockoffs. How about that?

So, are you a bag freak, too? Don't your eyes just lit up every time you see an exclusive bag store? Don't you love checking out the most popular designer bags that all celebrities have? Don't you just love to stare at them for hours? Okay, I might have over exaggerated here a little bit, but I must say that I love the sight of a pretty handbag.

When you are a teenager life is so easy and carefree. Okay, some might argue with that, but life really is much more simple when it comes down to fashion. Of course, you love shopping for new and pretty clothes, bags and shoes. But, unless you are from a rich family, you shop in ordinary stores and do not care much for designer brands. You see a pretty item and you buy it. Some of us stay like that for ever. Some, unfortunately, don’t. We want things that are better, prettier and definitely much more expensive. Handbags are definitely not an exception.

But what if we can’t afford a real designer handbag? That is where the cheap knockoffs come into the picture. Yes, some of them really do look like the real thing. These knockoffs are pretty expensive themselves. The really cheap knockoffs can cost next to nothing, but they do not look anything like the bags in the real designers’ collection. Neither do they last longer than a few months. The quality is truly bad.

I myself have bought a few replicas before and I am never doing that again. First of all, it doesn’t feel great. It might look pretty, but it don’t feel great inside. You know it’s fake, everyone else knows it’s fake, then what is the point of having it? Well, it does look pretty. Although, there are other bags, cheaper non-designer bags that look pretty, too. So is it really the bag that you are after or the reputation, the prestige? With a fake bag I felt like a fake myself. Since then I decided that I either buy cheaper non-designer bags or I save enough money to buy the real thing.

So, if you are like me and you just loooove pretty bags, decide for yourself what or who you want to be. After that it’s all very easy. Sometimes it really is worth to give up buying many different cheaper bags and saving up for the real thing. The real thing will last very long and will bring you joy every single day!
